Manufacturing refers to the concept-to-customer bridge as the most important success criteria of a consumer product. Knowing customer needs, customer must-haves and desires, regional and global differences, competitors, suppliers, lead time, and having the design, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and retail abilities to make it all come together is truly an amazing process. This learning event previews the world of product development and shows participants some of the key elements an organization must get right to ensure success. Technology applications and common marketing and design principles will be covered so that participants see the linkage of this end-to-end process.
