Overview

This course is designed to give a foundation in networking and to provide an overview of the of common networking and security principles, structure, and terminology, as well as some of the next generation internet services known as Web 2.0.  This course will enhance participants ability to continue their studies toward certifications as network administrators.

Participants will come away with:

  • Command of principles, tools, and terms used in networking
  • Key elements of the Internet 2.0 cannon of information
  • Cisco background and detailed knowledge of how to become certified
  • Key Security issues and defense strategies
