1 – Risk Management and Analysis Workshop (10AM-12PM)

Traditionally, only larger organizations were able to conduct meaningful risk management through labor-intensive analysis of lagging indicators. Today, businesses of all industries and all sizes can benefit from robust risk management that is easy to generate from financial analytics and other key performance metrics.  Using the risk management tools, generating interpretive data, and understanding how to apply the data insights with high organization impact is this workshop’s core focus.

2- Lean Manufacturing Workshop (12PM-2PM)

One of the core principles of lean is that it applies to all industries, not simply to mass manufacturing. How does it manifest in Automotive, Construction, Government, Medical, Technology, Utility, Financial, Retail, and other industries. This learning event will give example after example of areas where lean efforts are making a difference within the variety of industries explored.  Participants will come away with a clear knowledge of lean advances and demands in their particular industry and business function.

3- Supply Chain and Logistics (2M-4PM)

As individuals begin to learn and practice the fundamentals of supply chain and logistics, especially from the ground up, it is often helpful to know just how organizations use leading practices to design, measure, modify, and optimize their supply chain strategy. This analysis takes supply management from beyond the warehouse and into the boardroom. Learn from a business leader’s perspective about the supply management decisions that drive solid innovation.

4- Product Development Workshop (4PM-6PM)

  • Manufacturing refers to the concept-to-customer bridge as the most important success criteria of a consumer product. Knowing customer needs, customer must-haves and desires, regional and global differences, competitors, suppliers, lead time, and having the design, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and retail abilities to make it all come together is truly an amazing process. This learning event previews the world of product development and shows participants some of the key elements an organization must get right to ensure success. Technology applications and common marketing and design principles will be covered so that participants see the linkage of this end-to-end process.
