Regardless of area of focus from finance to engineering, to manufacturing , all of us are likely to have elements of our job dependent on supply chain management (SCM). Still, even the people majoring in SCM often do not have a full command of all of its elements and moving parts. This session provides a solid overview and starting point upon which supply chain can build and grow as part of a long-term successful career.

- Global Supply Chain and Logistics (2PM-5PM)
Two key issues have hit the globe, global supply and global demand. For the last twenty years or more, global supplier has meant finding labor and materials for less in other parts of the world and making sure that logistics costs did not encroach on the gains. Today, global demand means huge new markets are emerging in second and third world countries and supply chains must be up to the challenge. This program gives participants the key tools they need to navigate the international supply chain and understand its demands.
